The Cow

IMG_1604 “The Cow”  Owner’s Glenn and Sandi Bromagen, Ashbrook Farm, 1960 Pisgah Pike, Versailles, KY Firegate 24.  While traveling rural Woodford County, it’s not unlikely to see horses grazing in fields of Bluegrass.  However, on Pisgah Pike, you may encounter a cow;  not an uncommon site either.  Wait, this cow is purple and he is wearing goggles, and jockey boots.  Boasting the silks of the beautiful Ashbrook Farm, in the heart of the Pisgah Historic District,  is “The Cow”.  Not only does he stand proud in the front pasture, his portrait hangs on the tobacco barn just behind the pasture.  Viewing for “The Cow” quilt is approximately 1.6 miles from the Castle.  Look to the back of the farm to see the quilt.  Slow down and enjoy.
